Tomorrow morning, Leland High School will host its mock election, an annual tradition that goes back 20 years now. Check out today’s Record-Eagle coverage at http://www.record-eagle.com/2006/nov/01election.htm.
We’ve got an amazing team of Leland students who have been working with us for over a month now. For those who won’t be there, you can follow tomorrow’s event via a live webcast beginning at 9:00am. The webcast will be run on http://www.absolutemichigan.com/politics/
This is a really big deal: over 1000 local students will be there, and Leland has been named the site for the National Student/ Parent Mock Election. In addition to all the local media, our student campaign partners tell me that Michigan Government Television, USA Today, the Detroit Free Press, and a number of others will also be covering the election.
Following the election, we’ll post photos from the event, as well as some commercials that our student campaigners have designed and produced. Come back and check out all the action.
